Remazel Engineering secures contract for mooring connecting system

CHIUDUNO, Italy — Remazel Engineering, with work and support from Remazel Asia, has been awarded a contract for the design and manufacturing of a permanent mooring connecting system for floating offshore wind and fish farm integration application by the Chinese company LONGYUAN ZPMC, part of China Longyuan Power.

This pilot project is an integrated system of a floating wind turbine and marine aquaculture, and it will be deployed in Fujian Province, China.

“We are proud to work alongside such an important company for the development of new technologies. In recent years, China has become an important landmark in our development strategy,” GM Remazel Asia posted on LinkedIn.

China Longyuan Power, the largest wind power producer in China and Asia, said it is the earliest specialized company to develop wind power in the country.
