Offshore staff
KLAZIENAVEEN, the Netherlands — Vos Prodect will provide offshore cable accessories for the WindplanBlauw offshore wind farm on the Ijsselmeer in northwest Flevoland, the Netherlands.
Vattenfall and SwifterwinT are jointly responsible for the development, which also includes onshore turbines.
Cable supplier TKF awarded Vos Prodect the contract to supply all the cable hang-off systems for offshore installation, and the beach clamps for the onshore landing area, which are designed to safely secure the submarine cable.
The new wind farm will replace 74 old wind turbines with 61 new and more powerful models.
Installation started last year, and the development should become operational shortly.
