Offshore staff
ZAANDAM, the Netherlands — KenzFigee will supply three up-tower cranes to LiftWerx for use with offshore and onshore wind turbines.
The order comprises TeleHook, Heli-Hook and GenHook cranes designed for generator and gearbox exchanges. All will operate on wind turbine backfeed power, and they will be suitable for fixed-to-fixed lifting applications on offshore wind turbines up to 10 MW.
The GenHook’s hoisting capacity is 30 metric tons.
KenzFigee’s up-tower cranes can be temporarily installed in wind turbine nacelles for component change-outs.
