Offshore staff
ÅLESUND, Norway — Norwind Offshore has taken delivery of a new offshore wind farm maintenance/service vessel from the Vard shipyard in Brattvåg.
Norwind Breeze is the first of five vessels under construction, all of the VARD 4 01 design, developed by Vard Design in Ålesund in cooperation with Norwind Offshore.
All should be delivered by 2025, and they are each designed for global operations.
Norwind Breeze is due to start its first contract shortly for Ørsted at the Hornsea 2 wind farm in the U.K. North Sea.
