MARSEILLE, France – Bourbon Subsea Services has completed the offshore installation of the 3.6-MW TetraSpar Demonstrator floating wind turbine at the Metcentre test site in Norway, having installed and connected the power cable earlier this week.
Commissioning of the wind turbine will follow over the next few weeks.
The prototype turbine is based on the SPAR concept, designed by Stiesdal Offshore Technologies.
