PARIS – TotalEnergies’ Belgian affiliate Lampiris has signed a power purchase agreement with Air Liquide.
Over a period of 15 years, TotalEnergies will supply 50 GWh/yr of renewable electricity from a wind farm in the Belgian North Sea, to power Air Liquide’s industrial and medical gas production sites in Belgium.
The wind-generated electricity should cut CO2 emissions by around 270,000 tons over the life of the contract.
