    Total, ADNOC to collaborate on energy efficiency

    ABU DHABI, UAE – Total and Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) will investigate joint R&D and deployment opportunities in CO2 emission reductions and carbon capture, utilization and storage.

    The framework agreement expands on the two companies’ long-standing partnership and collaboration.

    Targets include improved energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy for oil and gas operations. They will also assess the potential for enhanced oil recovery projects based on CO2 usage.
