    Swire Blue Ocean to install Seagreen wind turbines offshore Scotland

    MHI Vestas Offshore Wind has hired Swire Blue Ocean A/S to transport and install the wind turbine generators at the Seagreen wind farm, 27 km (17 mi) off eastern Scotland.

    COPENHAGEN, Denmark – MHI Vestas Offshore Wind has hired Swire Blue Ocean A/S to transport and install the wind turbine generators at the Seagreen wind farm, 27 km (17 mi) off eastern Scotland.

    The company expects to install 114 V164-10 MW turbines in the second half of 2021.

    Seagreen is expected to be Scotland’s largest wind farm, generating enough electricity to power 1 million homes.
