Worley Rosenberg constructing North Sea Fram Sør subsea structures

The manifolds and pigging equipment will help guide production to the Troll C platform.

Subsea 7 has contracted Worley Rosenberg to fabricate 34 subsea structures for the Equinor-operated Fram Sør development in the northern Norwegian North Sea.

These will comprise pipeline end manifolds and terminations and pig launchers and receivers.

Fram Sør will be connected via 4 x 4-slot templates to the Troll C platform, with 12 wells planned at start-up. Subsea7’s EPCI responsibilities cover the subsea structures and flowlines.

These will be tied back to existing Fram offshore infrastructure and from there to Troll C for processing and export.

Oil will be sent via the Troll Oil Pipeline II to the Mongstad refinery, with the gas exported through the Troll A platform to Kollsnes.
