Equinor extends North Sea Sverdrup drilling contract

Northern Ocean has extended its contract with Equinor for use of the semisubmersible Deepsea Bollsta at the Johan Sverdrup field in the Norwegian North Sea.

In continuation of the initial two-year firm drilling period, the contract will continue for a further five months to enable completion of an eight-well program.

Five one-year extension options remain.
