OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has approved Repsol’s request for a life extension of the Rev Field in the southern Norwegian North Sea until year-end 2026.
Rev is in 90 m to 110 m of water in production license 038 C. It was developed via a subsea template with three production wells tied back via a 10-km pipeline to the Armada complex in UK waters.
Production started in 2009.
The field produces gas and condensate from Late Jurassic intra-Heather sandstone of Late Jurassic age.
Operator Repsol is 70% owner of the Rev Field, with Petoro holding the remaining 30%.
