More North Sea blocks added to UK licensing round

Britain’s North Sea Transition Authority has added another 334 offshore blocks to the UK’s recently opened 33rd Oil and Gas Licensing Round, following consultations with the Ministry of Defense.

LONDON  Britain’s North Sea Transition Authority has added another 334 offshore blocks to the UK’s recently opened 33rd Oil and Gas Licensing Round, following consultations with the Ministry of Defense.

All are in the UK central and southern North Sea.

The 33rd Round is due to close on Jan. 12, 2023.
