IOG starts up second North Sea Saturn Banks gas field

LONDON – IOG has produced first gas the Elgood field, under Phase 1 of the Saturn Banks project in the UK southern North Sea.

This followed the start of production from the Blythe field on Monday.

Elgood has been developed as a subsea tie-back to Blythe’s normally unmanned platform, controlled from the Bacton terminal on the Norfolk coast.
