Norway launches latest licensing round

The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has opened the country’s 25th licensing round.

OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has opened the country’s 25th licensing round.

On offer are 136 blocks, 11 in the Norwegian Sea and 125 in the Barents Sea.

The application deadline is Feb. 23, 2021.

The ministry aims to award production licenses during 2Q 2021.
