PARIS, France — PTTEP HK Offshore has awarded Technip Energies a FEED study for the Lang Lebah Onshore Gas Plant 2 (OGP2) project in Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia.
This covers design of the plant that will receive gas from the offshore Lang Lebah field and integrated flow assurance of the CO2 capture, compression and transportation via pipeline up to the offshore wellhead platform where the CO2 will be reinjected.
Gas from the Lang Lebah offshore field will undergo treatment at the plant before being sent to the Malaysia LNG complex.
The project is a component of the Sarawak Integrated Sour Gas Evacuation System development, which is expected to lead to production of further untapped sour gas resources offshore Sarawak.
