    Higher uptime reported at Bertam field offshore Malaysia

    VANCOUVER – Drilling operations continue on the A15 side track well on the Bertam field offshore Malaysia, operator International Petroleum Corp. (IPC) said in its latest results statement.

    Last year uptime at the field center was above 99%, with the FPSO Bertam water handling capacity raised from 17,000 to 24,000 b/d of water.

    Aside from completing the side track, the company’s plans for 2022 include an electric submersible pump upsizing campaign offshore Malaysia.
