INPEX set for first offshore Norway license

TOKYO – INPEX Norge has agreed to take a 40% interest from Bayerngas Norge in exploration license PL767 in the western Barents Sea.

This will beINPEX’s first involvement in activity offshore Norway. Lundin is the operator.

The 211-sq km (81-sq mi) concession is 120 km (75 mi) offshore, in water depths of 300-400 m (984-1,312 ft).
