Offshore staff

HOUSTON --Attendance at the 2007 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) reached a 25-year high to 67,155, according to OTC.

The organization says attendance increased 13% from 2006, exhibit space expanded for the first time into adjacent Reliant Stadium, and more outdoor exhibit was added for 2007.

The show included 2,400 companies from more than 30 countries, up from 2,229 in 2006, and total exhibit space covered 530,000 sq ft (49, 239 sq m), about the size of 13 football fields, according to OTC.

The 2008 OTC is scheduled for May 5-8, 2008 at Reliant Center, Houston.
