With recent delivery of its first-ever active heave-compensated offshore crane from its Singapore plant, Cargotec expects to flow more load handling products through the facility.

HOUSTON -- With recent delivery of its first-ever active heave-compensated offshore crane from its Singapore plant, Cargotec expects to flow more load handling products through the facility. The upgraded Singapore location is designed to deliver 10 – 20 large MacGregor offshore active heave-compensated cranes per year.
The crane is a 150-metric ton (165 ton) capacity MacGregor offshore active heave-compensated knuckle-jib crane. It was manufactured on-site and will be tested at Cargotec’s marine facility prior to delivery to a customer in Asia.
