HOUSTON -- At the 2010 Offshore Technology Conference, Schlumberger has announced the release of its ClearPhase mobile testing discharge treatment. This new system, designed specifically for well testing, provides onsite discharge treatment and real-time monitoring with an auditable record of output quality.
The system integrates TORR de-oiling technology licensed from ProSep Inc. with Schlumberger surface testing technology for a treatment system designed for well testing.
The ClearPhase system uses RPA reusable petroleum absorbent from ProSep Inc.; no waste or by-products are generated during effluent treatment. This helps eliminate the need for storage, transport, and offsite processing of fluids.
ClearPhase handles water flow rates to 5,000 b/d, says Schlumberger, and is rated for H2S service and is qualified to 212 ºF and 150 psi.
