Offshore staff

(Japan) -- More talks are scheduled between Japan and China regarding exploration in a disputed area of the East China Sea, says the Japan Foreign Ministry.

In this series of continuing talks, there has been disagreement about the demarcation line in the East China Sea between the two countries. Each claims a 200 nautical mile economic zone, and those two zones overlap.
