Offshore staff

PA Resources has completed the offshore installation of the jacket and the first deck on the new oil platform in the Didon field in Tunisia.

The jacket has been installed and secured with steel piles to the sea bottom. In addition, the first of two decks, the cellar deck, has been installed.

Work is ongoing to secure the deck to the jacket and to install three conductor pipes for the platform wells to be drilled into the Didon reservoir.

Installation of the main deck, the flare boom, the flow lines to the existing wells and export line will follow, as well as installation of a new mooring system to the new location for the Didon FPSO. The new location is approximately 500 meters from the old one.
