Caspian states move to finalize convention

TEHRAN -- Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Iran intend to finalize a draft of the convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea, according to Iran’s Petroenergy Information Network.
The document, discussed at the twenty-sixth meeting of a working group developing the convention, will serve as a tool in Caspian relations.
The next working group meeting is scheduled for 1Q 2010.
