Shell signs offshore Asia/Pacific engineering, project management deal with Technip

PARIS – Shell Global Solutions (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has awarded a framework agreement to Technip (Paris:TEC) covering offshore facilities in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The agreement is for five years with a five-year extension option.

Technip will provide engineering and project management services to support Shell’s offshore project facilities engineering scope in the region. The scope of work includes pre-front-end engineering design, front-end engineering design, detailed design engineering, procurement services, and construction management.

Technip’s operating center inKuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will execute the contract with the support of other operating centers in the Asia/Pacific area.
