RWE Dea strengthens license position in Norwegian Sea

Norway’s government has awarded RWE Dea Norge seven new licenses under the APA 2011 round, two as operator.

HAMBURG, Germany – Norway’s government has awarded RWE Dea Norge seven new licenses under the APA 2011 round, two as operator.

The two are next to the company’s operated license PL330 in the northern Norwegian Sea.

Of the other five licenses, one is in the Norwegian Sea, three in the North Sea, and one in the Barents Sea.

RWE Dea’s stakes are as follows:
North Sea: PL 635 (20%), PL 634 (30%), PL 638 (8%)
Norwegian Sea: PL 654 (40%, operator), PL 653 (40%, Operator), PL 647 (30%)
Barents Sea: PL 609B (30%)
