Con-Dive features newbuild vessel details

HOUSTON –Con-Dive used the DOT conference in Houston to release details about its four newbuild vessels, two of them for offshore construction support and two for dive support.

The offshore construction vesselOSA Goliath is due in 4Q 2008, and the OSA Sampson is due in 4Q 2010. Each is a DP-3 vessel of 180 m (590 ft) overall length and 105 m (344 ft) in breadth at 22,000 ton deadweight. Both will feature Liebherr MTC 64000 main cranes plus 100-ton capacity deck cranes.

The DP-2 dive support vessels are 100 m (330 ft) long and 24 m (79 ft) wide, and each will have a 12-man sat-dive system and accommodations for 300 crew. TheDon Amado is due in 4Q 2008 and the R.W. Freeman in 4Q 2009.
