SÃO TOMÉ, STP – The Agencia Nacional do Petróleo, ANP-STP, has awarded block 3 of its First Licensing Round to Oranto Petroleum. The block covers 4,228 sq km (1,632 sq mi) in zone A of the Exclusive Economic Zone between STP and Nigeria.
According to STP regulation, a production sharing contract will be negotiated to develop the block.
