TYLER, Texas – VME Process says it is supplying process internals and process guarantees for four HP Separators and four LP Separators for Marine Well Containment Company’s expanded containment system for incidents in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. ExxonMobil is leading the construction of this billion-dollar system which will be available in 2012.

VME is designing and fabricating the custom vessel internals to be compatible with a wide range of weather conditions, flow rates and types of crude that may need containment in the wake of an offshore incident. The company says that its experience and knowledge of the MWCC project help ensure that the separation vessels will be able to meet process guarantees in a wide variety of unknown circumstances.
