VIKEN, Norway— Seasystems, a part of Scana, has signed a contract for the delivery of an anchoring system to an FSO project outside West Africa, the company reported on its LinkedIn.
The contract is worth almost NOK 50 million (US$4.7 million).
The delivery consists of mooring equipment such as dual axis chain stoppers and chain handling systems.
For Seasystems, the project starts at once and will be delivered the first quarter of 2024.
“Seasystems has worked systematically to develop hardy and cost-effective mooring solutions, and we now see good results from this work,” said Torkjell Lisland, MD at Seasystems.
