DOHA, Qatar – QatarEnergy has signed a co-operation agreement with NAMCOR Exploration and Production (NAMCOR E&P).
This provides the framework for the two companies to support a sustainable upstream oil and gas sector in Namibia, Qatar Energy said, including for the training and development of NAMCOR employees in industry-based skills.
The agreement was signed by Immanuel Mulunga, managing director of NAMCOR and Khalid Mohammed Al-Hitmi, Executive Vice President–Subsurface Development & Exploration at QatarEnergy.
Both companies also agreed to work together on investment opportunities in Namibia’s upstream oil and gas sector.
