LONDON – Cameroon’s Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development has confirmed a formal extension to May 11, 2022 of the PSC for the offshore Thali license.
Operator Tower Resources Cameroon, which was preparing to drill the NJOM-3 well, declared force majeure in March 2020 in respect of the first exploration period due to the emerging COVID-19 restrictions.
The formal extension allows the company to proceed with finalizing a schedule for drilling and testing the well.
