Caspian Sea ACG platform offline for maintenance

BAKU, Azerbaijan — bp has suspended production from the Deepwater Gunashli platform in the Caspian Sea for 15 days for an annual maintenance turnaround program.

The facility is part of the multi-platform Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) Field development in the Azerbaijani sector.

Planned works include valve change-outs, nucleonic sources replacement and other repair tasks.

Production from the other ACG platforms and export operations via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP and SCPX) are continuing as normal.
