Offshore staff

ABERDEEN, UK --Hess has re-appointed Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) as the prime contractor providing operations and maintenance services to the Triton FPSO. This vessel handles production from the Bittern and Greater Guillimot area in the central UK North Sea.

The FPSO and associated facilities are expected to remain in production through 2020 at least. Wood Group's three-year extension of duty will secure employment for more than 100 of its own personnel and subcontractors, offshore and onshore.

The company's Triton onshore support team is also providing operations and maintenance support to Hess' operations offshore Equatorial Guinea.
