Aban extends Endeavor contract

Prosafe has received a Letter of Intent from Aban Offshore Ltd. to extend the contract of FSO Endeavor at the PY-3 field off India for $24.7 million.

STAVANGER, Norway --Prosafe has received a Letter of Intent from Aban Offshore Ltd. to extend the contract of FSO Endeavor at the PY-3 field off India for $24.7 million. The contract now ends in July 2009.

Prosafe says it will perform upgrades to the FSO to enable it to extend service. At the end of the contract the FSO will have been at the field for 12 years.
