Offshore staff

PERTH, Australia --ConocoPhillips Australia has awarded the Clough AMEC Joint Venture a 15-month extension to its operations and maintenance contract for Bayu-Undan development in the Timor Sea.

Clough AMEC will provide operational support to a production and processing platform, a compression, utilities and quarters platform, a wellhead platform and theLiberdade FPSO. Incorporated within the scope is the provision of planning and implementation support, including dedicated resources for a major facility shutdown scheduled for late 2007.

Bayu-Undan is a gas and condensate field 250 km (155 mi) south of Suai, Timor-Leste and 500 km (311 mi) northwest of Darwin, Australia.
