Riser problems halt production at P-25 off Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil –Petrobras has halted production from the P-25 platform in Campos basin's Albacora field due to problems with the drillpipe riser.
Petrobras says its monitoring system on the riser identified a change in the surface, so production was stopped to prevent further damage and leakage.
The repair is expected to be complete by Oct. 29.
