LONDON --Star Energy has exercised its options concerning a proposed gas storage project in the UK southern North Sea.

Under the agreements with EnCore Oil, Star will hold 50% operating interests in the decommissioned Esmond and Gordon fields which would be converted for this scheme. The fields are in blocks 43/13a, 43/15a, and 43/20a.
