THE HAGUE, The Netherlands --Houston-based analysts Ryder Scott has evaluated proven and probable reserves of 7.43 MM bbl within Grove Energy's P8a production license offshore The Netherlands.

The reserves are concentrated on the Horizon West accumulation, awarded to Grove with the license last October. The company plans to develop this field from Chevron's P9 Horizon platform. Chevron, which will operate the development, is working on preliminary well design, platform modifications, and design studies. Grove is aiming to bring the field onstream during 2007-08.
