MTJDA-B17 project begins production

The PTTEP and Petronas joint-operated MTJDA-B17 project has begun natural gas production from the Muda and Jengka fields.

BANGKOK, Thailand -- The PTTEP and Petronas joint-operated MTJDA-B17 project has begun natural gas production from the Muda and Jengka fields.

The fields are currently producing 135 MMcf/d of gas, and 4,900 b/d of condensate. By the fourth quarter, natural gas production is expected to reach 335 MMcf/d.
