Chevron UK gives Wood Group ops/maintenance role

ABERDEEN-- Chevron North Sea has awarded Wood Group a three-year operations and maintenance for the Alba, Captain, and Erskine fields in the UK sector. The contract has an estimated value of $18.5 million over the three initial years, with two one-year extension options.

The program covers operations and maintenance services for the Alba Northern Platform, the Captain FPSO and wellhead production platform, and the unmanned Erskine platform. In October, Chevron also awarded Wood Group a three year engineering and construction contract worth an estimated $69 million.
