Murphy PSC off Malaysia terminated

EL DORADO, Arkansas -- Murphy Oil Corp. has been informed by PETRONAS that production sharing contracts for blocks L and M offshore Malaysia are terminated. By letter agreement between Malaysia and Brunei, those 2003 offshore awards to Murphy and PETRONAS are no longer part of Malaysia.
Murphy says its participation in replacement agreements covering the areas is under discussion.
