STAVANGER, Norway -- The SCB-1 production well in the Siri area of the Danish North Sea should come back onstream this month, according to partner Noreco.

The well has been undergoing repairs after being shut in since April. Noreco adds that the planned gas compressor upgrade on the Siri platform, operated by DONG Energy, is now scheduled for January.

At South Arne in the same sector (operated by Hess), Noreco says that two new production wells are being completed and should be brought onstream later this year.

At the Brage complex in the Norwegian North Sea (operator Statoil), gas production has been reduced since August because of compressor problems. Production had to be shut down completely for 12 days while the compressor was revamped.
