OPTI-EX platform closer to GoM deployment

ANTWERP – Exmar and LLOG are seeking regulatory approval to deploy the semisubmersible production platform OPTI-EX in the US Gulf by mid-2011.

This approval is also needed for sale of the platform to be completed.

Offshore Congo, Exmar has won consecutive short-term employment contracts for its accommodation barge KISSAMA, starting November 1.

The barge will be available for duty elsewhere in West Africa in 2011.
