Statoil has contracted Aibel for modifications to the Gullfaks C platform in the Norwegian North Sea.
Offshore staff STAVANGER, Norway -- Statoil has contracted Aibel for modifications to the Gullfaks C platform in the Norwegian North Sea.
The work is to accommodate production from the current Pan/Pandora satellite field coming into the processing facilities on Gullfaks C.
According to Aibel, the contract value is around $25 million. The project will be managed from the company’s office in Bergen, with personnel in Haugesund also involved in fabrication and onshore work.
