Offshore staff

HONG KONG -- The Qi Kou (QK) 17-2E project in Bohai Bay by CNOOC Ltd. has gone onstream with production of 2,400 b/d of oil.

In 5-7 m of water, the development facilities of project QK 17-2E include one wellhead platform and six producing wells. To take advantage of other neighboring fields and to enhance the economic efficiency, CNOOC designed an unmanned central platform.
