Offshore staff

CALGARY, Canada, and LONDON -- An agreement was signed giving Antrim Energy Inc. a 75% working interest in North Sea block 21/28a from Eni.

The block holds the Fyne and Dandy oilfields.

Some eight wells were drilled to date in the area, and three were successes, producing on test between 1,240 and 3,600 b/d oil.

The fields combine structural and stragegraphic traps in the Tay formation, with potential in the underlying Jurassic formation. The fields are on trend with the Sheryl oil field and Sheryl is immediately south of the Saxon and Pict discoveries, also in the Tay formation.
