OSLO, Norway --Artumas Group Inc. is making headway with its Mnazi Bay drilling program and Mtwara energy project. The company has tied in the initial MB-1 well, drilled and completed well MB-2, and is drilling well MB-3.
The company says this drilling program will allow Artumas to delineate and triangulate Mnazi Bay gas field reserves.
Artumus also has completed production facilities and laying the 27-km (17-mi) onshore/offshore pipeline.
The Mtwara project is scheduled for completion in mid-December, with initial power generated from the facility to the Mtwara grid on Dec. 8. Transitional commissioning of the integrated production facilities will continue through yearend, with full commissioning of the integrated gas-to-power project targeted for early January.
