CNOOC Ltd said it is waiting for futher field work before deciding whether to exercise its rights 51% of the Husky Energy Inc. natural gas find in the South China Sea.
Husky has a production-sharing contract with CNOOC Ltd.'s parent, China National Offshore Oil Corp. for the area in the South China Sea. CNOOC has transferred its rights under Husky PSC to CNOOC Ltd.
