Petrobras awards Siri FPSO contract

Petrobras has awarded an contract to Petrojarl Production AS to supply an FPSO for the Siri project in the Campos basin offshore Brazil.

TRONDHEIM, Norway -- Petrobras has awarded an contract to Petrojarl Production AS to supply an FPSO for the Siri project in the Campos basin offshore Brazil.

The FPSO work will be done by Teekay Petrojarl Offshore L.P. in joint venture wtih Teekay Shipping Corp.

The FPSO is scheduled to start producing in 1Q08.
