LIVERPOOL, UK -- - Offshore facilities management specialist Petrofac will become duty holder for the Irish Sea Pioneer in Liverpool Bay next month. This jack-up vessel supports operations on the Douglas platform for BHP Billiton's Liverpool Bay development.

Douglas is the hub for three unmanned satellite production platforms on the Hamilton, Hamilton North and Lennox fields, and ialso serves as an oil storage installation. Petrofac has been working on this project since its inception in the late 1990s.
